Mailpeek is a Chrome extension that helps users review unread Gmail messages, inspect a selected message, generate a manual AI summary, and prepare a same-language reply draft. It never sends email for the user.

Generate a summary only after clicking the AI summary control for the selected message.

Why Mailpeek requests Google user data
Mailpeek requests the Gmail readonly scope solely to retrieve unread-message metadata and selected message content that the user chooses to inspect. This access powers the unread list, selected-message preview, badge count, and user-triggered AI features. Mailpeek cannot send, delete, archive, label, or otherwise modify Gmail messages.
Privacy and user control
Mailpeek has no mailbox or AI proxy server. Gmail data is fetched directly from Google into the extension. A selected sender, subject, snippet, and message body may be sent directly to the AI provider chosen by the user only after the user clicks Summarize, AI quick reply, or refreshes an AI result. Settings, the user's provider API key, cached messages, and AI results stay in the browser and can be cleared from Settings.

Preview before connecting Gmail
Choose Preview without Gmail in the extension to inspect sample messages, a sample summary, and a sample reply draft without granting Gmail access, providing an AI key, or making a payment.
