Privacy policy
Mailpeek reads Gmail only for features you choose to use.
Last updated: 2026-08-16. This policy is published by V2Cross.
Gmail data
Mailpeek requests Gmail readonly access to display unread message metadata and selected message content. It does not request permission to send, modify, delete, archive, or label messages.
No Mailpeek server stores mailbox data.
AI data flow
AI summaries and reply drafts run only after a user action. The selected sender, subject, snippet, and body may be sent to the AI provider selected by the user. The user's provider API key is stored locally in chrome.storage.local.
Mailpeek does not use Gmail data to train models. Provider processing is governed by the provider's own terms and privacy policy.
Limited Use
Gmail data is used only to provide the unread preview, selected-message detail, manually triggered AI features, local badge, and local brief. It is not sold, used for advertising, or transferred to data brokers.
Local data and deletion
Settings, cached unread metadata, cached AI results, sync state, and an optional AI API key remain in the browser. Users can clear local data, delete the saved key, reset AI access, pause background Gmail checks, or disconnect Gmail from the options page.
Contributions
Optional one-time contributions are processed by Stripe. Mailpeek sends Stripe only a random installation ID as a checkout reference and does not send Gmail content or AI API keys.
